Non-contact plate washer and liquid dispenser
C.WASH™ a liquid handler tailored for your application
C.WASH™ is our innovative plate washer designed for automated, rapid and highly reproducible washing of the entire 96-, 384-, and 1536-well plates.
The C.WASH™ uses centrifugal forces to remove liquids from well plates contact-less in seconds. Dispense the plate with liquid connected to one of the 4 liquid input channels. The angle dispensing allows aiming at well walls, hence preserving growing cells, bound capture antibodies or magnetic bead pellets.
The non-contact washing reduces the risk of carry-over and cross-contamination while saving on pipette tips.
Because of these unique properties, C.WASH™ is the perfect solution for cell-based assays and bead-based nucleic acid purification.
Tip Consumption Calculator
The dependency on pipette and liquid handler tips is costly on the wallet as well as the environment. Use the Tip Consumption Calculator to see how many tips you are using in a year and how long it will take you to recover the cost of a C.WASH using only pipette tip savings!
C.WASH™ washing efficiency improves the reproducibility of results, drives down costs, reduces timelines and maximizes overall assay efficiency.
Features designed to improve efficiency and speed up your workflow
Avoid carryover and cross-contamination thanks to non-contact dispensing and liquid removal
Supports multiple plate sizes
Versatile instrument capable of gently removing liquid from any SBS format, 96- 384- 1536-well plates.
Low residual volume
Unmatched washing efficiency with residual volumes <0.1µl, reduces the number of washing cycles required
Faster NGS library preparation thanks to magnetic plate carriers
Fast and automated
Fully automated and stand alone operation, 1 wash cycle in 96- or 384-well plate <1 min
C.WASH automates all the washing and dispensing steps in a typical screening workflow, making it an essential device for drug discovery or gene editing in HTS environments.
ELISAs are very sensitive immunoassays, therefore cross contamination and/or pipetting inaccuracies may result in high coefficient of variation (CV). The accurate non-contact dispensing limits both cross-contamination and therefore reduce CV. Moreover, the lower residual volume after washing enables a better washing efficiency and reduces the number of washes.
Highly reproducible washing efficiency
Featuring a residual volume of <0.1 uL/well, C.WASH dramatically reduces the number of wash cycles required and results in faster, more reproducible assays.

Intuitive – User friendly software
This is the key feature of our system and provides a unique competitive advantage in the marketplace. The intuitive nature of the software allows for guidance through each step of your protocol.
Creation of customized programs
The feature most appreciated by the user allows them to choose a variety of options, including pause time, shaking and decanting and centrifugation time.
Automation friendly software architecture
The well-documented communication via the SiLA2 interface ( Standardization in Laboratory Automation), allows integration with Automation Programming Interface and is compatible with third-party control software.
The C.WASH is SiLA2 compliant, which facilitate its integration in HTS facilities.
Waste system in C.WASH™
Auto switching (internal) for up to 4 liquid input channels, with auto priming function.
The waste is discarded through an active pump, which prevents the clogging of the internal tubing. It also reduces the instrument footprint, as it allows the integration in any lab configuration.
