About the Author
Dr. Adrian Zambrano set off his career path by completing a B.Sc. in Chemical engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. He completed his doctoral work at the Pierre and Marie Curie University and France’s National Centre for Scientific Research, leading to a Ph.D. from the University of Paris-Saclay. Following his passion for biophysics, his postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics focused on synthetic biology and microfluidics.
He has performed in various commercial and management positions for the past years at CYTENA, a BICO company, where he has combined his scientific expertise with strong customer engagement.
Ultimately, his passion lies in contributing scientifically and to the market opinion in his field.

About the Author
Fascinated by the human immune system in health and disease, Dr. Katrin Raute completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in biology with a focus on immuno-oncology at the University of Freiburg and subsequently obtained her PhD at the same institution. Her PhD work focused on T cell migration in the context of solid tumors and resulting consequences for adoptive T cell therapies.
After her academic experience, she joined CYTENA as a product specialist for the single-cell dispenser portfolio. Since 2022, as product manager, she has particularly been focusing on the UP.SIGHT, CYTENA’s flagship device.
Leveraging her scientific background, she supports CYTENA to provide cell line development laboratories with optimal workflow solutions, continuously improving CYTENA’s single-cell dispensers with a customer-centric approach.
