Thank you for your interest in Cytena GmbH and for your participation in our online application process. The protection of your personal data is important to us.

Please note that as an internal service provider, Cytena GmbH manages the entire application process for all Cytena GmbH companies centrally (see section 1.8.). Personal data is information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, the real name, address, telephone number and date of birth, but also all other data that can be related to an identifiable person.

Our data protection practice is in accordance with the legal regulations, in particular those of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will only process your personal data in the context of the online application process insofar as this is necessary to carry out the process and to process your application. 1.3 Data processing in the context of your online application

If you choose to apply online, we thank you. This will facilitate and accelerate the processing of your application.
If your application relates to a specific job advertisement, we will only process the data you provide in the context of your application for the purpose of processing the application for this position.
Beyond the completion of the application process for this position, we only save your application data to the extent that this is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests. The storage period in the applicant management system is limited to 12 months after the application process has ended.

We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect your application data against accidental or deliberate manipulation and against unauthorized access. The transmission of your data is encrypted according to the currently recognized state of the art.
In the recruiting process, your application data is only accessed by those people who are entrusted with the recruiting process. In this case, these are the HR department and the manager responsible for the vacancy.
We will only use your application data outside of the application process for anonymized statistics. Any further use does not take place.

1.6 Duration of data storage; Deletion of your application data

We store your application data for a period of 12 months after the application process has been completed. After the deadline, your applicant data will be deleted. Subject to statutory retention periods, we will delete your application data after the application process has been completed, unless there is a reason for storage described in Section 1.3 or 1.4. In this case, we will delete the data immediately after the reason for storage no longer applies.

Right to information: You have the right to information about the data stored by us, in particular the purpose for which the processing is carried out and how long the data is stored (Article 15 GDPR).

Right to correct incorrect data: You have the right to request us to correct your personal data without delay if it is incorrect (Article 16 GDPR).

Right to deletion: You have the right to request that we delete your personal data.
