Single-strain isolation was carried out using a two-step workflow with the B.SIGHT. After transformation, the system dispensed single bacteria onto SBS plate formats, with image confirmation, both into liquid culture and onto solid media.

This workflow reduces time and cost compared to traditional colony picking, making B.SIGHT a powerful tool for strain isolation.
